Although the fastest Lithuanian rally racers have occasionally visited the Ukmergė district, the last time city was the center of the LARČ event in 2003, when the “Aukštaitija Rally” took place here.

 

    The LARČ event is held in Ukmergė by the “GSR Motorsport” racing team, which is well-known in Lithuania and around the world and competes in both classic rallying and circuit racing. The “GSR Motorsport” team has teamed up with fellow racer and businessman Dovydas Ketvirtis, under whose leadership “Jusema” has become the title partner of the rally.

 

    The Ukmergė district is full of legendary roads with a rich rally history, is joined by the Širvintos district, which is also rich in special stages. The geography of the two districts offers enough challenges for two days in which the participants will have to cover around 110 sport kilometers.
